LE LEZARD ROUGE
The tourist train "Le Lézard Rouge" connects the mining town of Métlaoui to that of Rdaïed crossing the Oued Selja Gorge in the region of Gafsa in southwest Tunisia. Originally, this train was offered to the bey of Tunisia by the French king at the beginning of the last century. The typical train consisted of 6 communicating wagons, one of which was reserved for the bey and another which served as a restaurant. Its rich decor will certainly make you relive the time.
